EDITING INDIVIDUAL CLIPS
- IN PREMIERE
- In your sequence, duplicate the audio clip you want to edit
- If you are doing noise reduction or a similar process, make sure there is enough white noise in your clip to make a noise print
- Right click on the clip > Edit in Adobe Audition
- IN AUDITION
- The clip you selected will open in Audition
- Make adjustments as needed
- Save the Audition project, no need to pick a save location, it will create a new file next to the original audio files
- After you save, changes will be reflected in the clip back in Premiere
EDITING FULL SEQUENCE
- IN PREMIERE
- Duplicate sequence and rename _FOR MIX
- With your sequence open, go to Edit > Edit in Adobe Audition > Sequence
- IN AUDTION
- Your project will open in Audition
- In Multitrack view, you will be able to edit all of your tracks
- Make adjustments as needed
- When you’re done, go to File > Save
- Go to File > Export > Export to Adobe Premiere Pro
- Select “Export each track as stem”
- Select “Open in Adobe Premiere Pro”
- Export
- IN PREMIERE
- Copy the edited audio tracks into “New Audio Track”
